Vincent O’Connor

Founder

Launched by Vincent O’Connor in 2020, VOCON Energy Ltd, follows the launch of sister company VOCON Traffic Management in July 2019. Together, the businesses are built on strong foundations of technical knowledge, reliability, and forward-thinking service delivery.

Vincent brings over two decades of senior experience, including time within the Gallagher Group, where he successfully established and grew the GTM division during a 13-year tenure, playing a key role in the group’s eventual sale in August 2019.

Supported by a management team with over 40 years of combined industry experience, Vincent continues to drive the business with a hands-on approach and a commitment to quality, innovation, and long-term partnerships.

Parmjit Singh 

Director

Parmjit joined VOCON Energy in 2021 with over 20 years’ experience in senior operational and commercial roles across major UK water and energy frameworks.

He became a Director/Shareholder after a career supporting clients including Yorkshire Water, Severn Trent Water and Welsh Water, bringing deep expertise in programme delivery, safety leadership and customer-focused performance. He now leads VOCON Energy’s operational strategy, governance and continuous improvement agenda.

Michael O’Connor

Finance Director

Michael is a chartered actuary and an experienced finance expert. Prior to joining the VOCON Group in 2026, he spent 9 years as a consultant at PwC as part of the Business Risk, AI & Modelling team, managing and delivering finance projects for UK and overseas insurance firms.

Michael brings his experience across finance transformation, system implementation, AI adoption and process improvement to the VOCON Group.

Tom Goodare

Head of Operations

Tom joined VOCON Energy in 2020 and brings over 13 years of experience in operational leadership across the UK energy and utilities sector.

He progressed to Head of Operations in 2022, following roles in smart metering, field operations and engineering, where he built a strong track record in team leadership, programme delivery and performance improvement.

Tom has played a key role in VOCON Energy’s growth, successfully onboarding new contracts, increasing turnover and expanding the company’s national footprint. He now leads the company’s operational delivery, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong customer and safety-led culture.

Julian Bennett 

Operations Manager

Julian joined VOCON Energy in 2021 as Stores & Facilities Manager after spending 20 years managing teams across operations, logistics, and administration. Despite being new to the utilities industry,  he became a Field Delivery Lead after one year in the business and was promoted to Operations Manager two years later.

Today, Julian manages a team of 80 across 4 contracts as well as Stores and Purchasing.

Michael Morgan

Commercial Lead

Michael joined VOCON Energy in 2019 as a Business Administrator during the company’s early development and has progressed alongside its growth into his current role as Commercial Lead

With previous experience at Go Traffic Management Ltd, Michael has developed a strong commercial skillset across financial processes, contract support and business operations. He plays a key role in supporting VOCON Energy’s commercial performance and ongoing business growth.
